10 Years of GameJamPlus
Terms and Conditions
GameJamPlus, in partnership with Indie Hero, is hosting the Official 10th Anniversary Commemorative T-Shirt Contest. The winning artwork is not only a tribute: it becomes an official product, worn by those who have been part of this journey.
1. Purpose
1.1. The contest aims to select 1 (one) official 10th anniversary design for GameJamPlus, which will be used as an official product, sold by the organization, and used in institutional actions.
2. Theme
2.1. The design must represent the following concepts:
- Cultural diversity
- Game development
- Collaborative spirit
- Creativity
- Global GameJamPlus community
2.2. Artistic interpretation is free, as long as it aligns with the brand’s values.
3. Who Can Participate
3.1. Any individual over 18 years old.
3.2. No prior connection to GameJamPlus is required.
3.3. Registration is free.
4. Participation Conditions
4.1. Each participant may submit only 1 (one) design.
4.2. The artwork must be 100% original and solely created by the participant.
4.3. The use of AI, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited.
4.4. There is no color limit.
4.5. Failure to comply with any rule results in immediate disqualification, without prior notice.
5. Technical Specifications
5.1. Submissions must include:
- Vector file in .EPS
- .PNG file (transparent background, high resolution)
5.2. Other formats will not be considered.
6. Use of Brand, Logos, and Mascots
6.1. The use of GameJamPlus logos, mascots, and official elements is allowed but not mandatory. Official files are available via the provided link. (Click Here)
7. Submission Deadline
7.1. Deadline: February 28, 23:59 (Brasília time)
7.2. Late submissions will not be accepted.
8. Selection Process
The selection will occur in two stages:
8.1. Internal Evaluation
A GameJamPlus and Indie Hero curation team will select finalist designs based on:
- Relevance to the theme
- Creativity and originality
- Aesthetic and technical quality
- Clarity of application as a T-shirt design
8.2. Public Voting
- Finalist designs will be open for public voting on the official GameJamPlus website until March 5, 2026.
- The design with the most votes will be declared the winner.
- Only unique votes will be considered.
9. Results
9.1. The winner will be announced live during the LATAM Semifinal of GameJamPlus on March 7 in São Paulo (SP).
9.2. The winner will be contacted via the organization’s official channels.
10. Prizes
10.1. The winning participant will receive:
- ✈️ Trip to the Global Finals of GameJamPlus 10th Edition in Brasília on May 14;
- 👕 Production and sale of the design as an official GameJamPlus T-shirt;
- 💰 15% (fifteen percent) revenue share on the net profit from sales of the design at store.indiehero.io
10.2. Prize notes:
- Unspecified costs (meals, accommodation, additional travel) are not included unless stated otherwise by the organization
- Revenue share will be calculated and paid according to Indie Hero’s internal policy, with deadlines and formats communicated to the winner
- Travel prizes apply only to Brazilian residents; international winners receive ONLY the other prizes
11. Copyrights and Use
11.1. By entering the contest, the participant declares:
- They are the sole and legitimate author of the submitted work.
- The work does not infringe on third-party copyrights, image rights, or intellectual property.
- The winning participant grants GameJamPlus and Indie Hero a non-exclusive, free, unlimited, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and commercialize the design in any medium, while retaining author credit.
12. Disqualification
12.1. Designs will be disqualified at any time if they:
- Use AI;
- Are not original;
- Contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content;
- Violate any item of these rules.
13. General Provisions
13.1. The organization may request additional materials to verify authorship and creation process (editable files, sketches, work stages) for auditing and validation purposes.
13.2. In case of suspected copyright infringement or AI use, the organization may suspend participation until review and, if confirmed, enforce disqualification.
